I'm officially a WEDDING DIRECTOR!!!

I directed my first wedding yesterday for a friend of mine from Auburn!!! It was a huge success and everything went so smoothly. I will have to say this is a start to a new career for me!! I enjoyed every minute of it, from keeping the wedding going to keeping the photographer going. I am Mrs. Organized, so I had a list for everything that had to be done (pictures, ceremony, vendors, etc.). I guess you could say I was more like the wedding coordinator/bride's run-around friend. When the cake lady wanted the bride's opinion on how something looked on the cake, it was "Ask Lyndsay!!" :D. I loved it!!! Josh got bombarbed with the question, "Is this what you guys do every weekend?". They all said that they would have never guessed that it was my first!!! Soooo exciting!!!

Hello!! Welcome to my new blog. I certainly hope I can keep this one updated.
It is hard just keeping one updated, much less two!!

I want to start off telling everyone just exactly how much fun I have at work and what exactly it is that I do. All day, everyday, I get to work with brides to help and make their wedding day a dream come true. We sell everything from the invitations to the garter, and MUCH MUCH more. Of course, I do deal with some MEAN bridezillas, but it just makes for a good laugh at the end of the day.
I not only get to do wedding stuff all day, but I also get to create enclosure cards, thank you cards, christmas cards, birth annoucements, note pads, and the list could go on and on. You name it, I can create it. So instead of just talking about it, I am going to post some of my recent work.
More to come later, I gotta get to work on some new things!!! Hope you enjoy!
